The Florida Panthers have selected Olof Glifford with the 159th overall pick in the 2023 NHL Draft.
Olof Glifford
Glifford, a goalie, played for HV71 in a selection of Swedish junior leagues last year. In the J18 Region league, Glifford posted a .907 save percentage. However, in the J18 National league, he improved to a stellar .929 save percentage. The Swedish prospect also played in the J20 league, posting a .949 in three games.
The Swedish national was an off the board pick for the Florida Panthers. Unranked in NHL’s central scouting, Glifford was unknown to most. His pick adds him to a long list of goalies in the Panthers reserve list.
