Rookie Chad Muma Is Ready to Perform at a High Level in his First Year with the Jacksonville Jaguars

Jacksonville Jaguars rookie linebacker Chad Muma recently appeared on Andrew Eshman’s “The Jag Roar Podcast”.

When asked about his excitement to be playing under Doug Pederson, a super bowl winning head coach, Muma said the following:

“100% I am (excited). He’s been great and I think the messages that he conveys to the whole team… whether it’s in team meetings or out on the field, he does a great job there. I think the team is very excited to have him as the head coach and excited to get the ball rolling. Sometimes you hear these stories of how things were last year… that’s not the case this year. You can just get the feeling from the team that everyone is excited.”

Muma was asked to give one piece of advice to an aspiring young athlete. Here is what he said:

“It’s a consistency thing. Don’t let anyone ever tell you that you can’t do it. At the same time, you have to be consistent in all aspects of your life, whether it be working out, going to practice, whether it’s in school, eating the right way, getting the right sleep… it’s having that consistency of always doing it the right way so then you put yourself in that best position to go achieve your dreams. That’s the biggest aspect of it all.”
