University of Miami Releases Non-Conference Schedule for 2022-2023 College Basketball Season

CORAL GABLES, FLA- The University of Miami officially released their non-conference schedule for the upcoming 2022-2023 basketball season. In total, Miami will play 12 games against non-conference opponents throughout the season, ranging from teams in the Big East and Big Ten conferences. Miami’s entire non-conference schedule is listed below.

Oct. 30: Exhibition Game vs Indiana University of Pennslyvania (IUP)
Nov. 7: Vs Lafayette
Nov. 11: Vs UNC Greensboro
Nov. 15: Vs Florida A&M
Nov. 19: Vs Providence (Naismith Memorial Basketball HOF Tip-Off Tournament – Uncasville, Conn.)
Nov. 20: Vs Maryland/Saint Louis (Naismith Memorial Basketball HOF Tip-Off Tournament – Uncasville, Conn.)
Nov. 23: Vs St. Francis Brooklyn
Nov. 27: at UCF
Nov. 30: Vs Rutgers (ACC/Big Ten Challenge)

Simply put, the Hurricanes’ most notable opponents on the non-conference slate are Providence, Maryland/St. Louis, and Rutgers. All three of these games will tip off in November, with Miami’s games against Providence and Maryland/St. Louis both taking place during the HoopHall Hall of Fame Tip-Off Classic. The Hurricanes will face the Scarlet Nights as one of the 14 games in the ACC-Big Ten Challenge, one of college basketball’s premier regular season events. Just three days before playing Rutgers on November 30th, Miami will face Central Florida in a highly-anticipated game. For context, the Knights traveled to Coral Gables on November 13th and gave the Hurricanes their first loss of the season, 89-95. Despite the loss, Miami quickly rebounded, finishing the 2021-2022 season with a 26-11 regular-season record and a trip to the Elite Eight in 2022 March Madness.
