Heat Dominate In Season Opener, Beat Bucks 137-95

Game 1 of the 2021-22 NBA season for the Miami Heat was a huge success. Even though Kyle Lowry managed to knock down only one shot in his Heat debut, Miami beat the Milwaukee Bucks by a final score of 137-95.

The Bucks couldn’t get anything going on either sides of the ball from the start of Thursday night’s game. The Heat managed to hold reigning NBA Finals MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo to 15 points and All-Star Khris Middleton to 10 points.

Meanwhile, the Heat were shooting the ball well from the get-go. Jimmy Butler finished with 21 points with four rebounds and six assists. Tyler Herro, who came off the bench, dropped a game-high 27 points with six rebounds and five assists. Bam Adebayo also played well, recording a double-double with 20 points and 13 rebounds.

Overall, the Heat outmatched the Bucks. Milwaukee was without Brook Lopez and Jrue Holiday. However, the reigning NBA champs still had their best two players in Giannis and Middleton.

The Heat shot an amazing 53.1% from the field, compared to Milwaukee’s 38.1%. Diving deeper, the Heat outmatched the Bucks in every stat category, including turnovers, rebounds, blocks, assists, steals, and even points in the paint.
