Week 2 Preview: Buffalo Bills vs. Miami Dolphins

The Buffalo Bills are coming to town for a Sunday clash that will put the Miami Dolphins into a pristine opportunity.

As things currently stand, the Dolphins are alone atop the AFC East as the only team with a win after Week 1. A win for Miami in Week 2 over Buffalo would give Miami a two and a half game lead over the Bills in the division.

Kickoff is scheduled for 1:00 PM.

Preview

After Josh Allen and the Bills’ offense was stymied by the Pittsburgh Steelers in Buffalo, the unit could struggle again against a good Miami defense. However, Josh Allen and Stefon Diggs are too good; expect a bounce-back week from Buffalo’s offense.

Since his rookie season, Josh Allen has played five games against the Dolphins. The Bills have won them all, averaging 39.4 points per game. In those games, Allen has completed 64.4% of his passes for an average of 259 yards with 17 touchdowns and just four interceptions. He also had 340 yards rushing and three TDs.

In three of the five victories over Miami, Allen was named AFC offensive player of the week.

Injury Updates

Miami will have WR Will Fuller available for the first time this season. The free agent acquisition missed the opener while serving the final game of a six-game suspension.

However, Fuller is dealing with a personal issue and will not play Sunday.

For Buffalo, many players come in as questionable including WR Emmanuel Sanders. However, all are expected to play.
