Former Miami Hurricanes quarterback N’Kosi Perry has been named the starter for FAU (Florida Atlantic University).

N’Kosi Perry

Perry, who will face the Florida Gators in Week 1, totaled 24 games with nine starts during his tenure at Miami (2017-20). In 2020, Perry saw action in five games as the team’s primary backup (behind D’Eriq King). In 2020, Perry’s top performance came during the Cheez-It Bowl. He was 19-of-34 for 228 yards with two passing touchdowns against Oklahoma State.

Perry’s best-ever game came against Virginia Tech. The 23-year-old had 422 passing yards, going 28-for-47, and throwing for four scores.

The six-foot-four quarterback is a dual-threat quarterback. Perry will likely be one of the best quarterbacks FAU has had in a while.
