The Miami Marlins have traded OF Adam Duvall to the Atlanta Braves in exchange for C Alex Jackson.
Adam Duvall
Duvall, 32, is batting .229/.277/.478 with 22 home runs and 68 RBI’s in 90 games this season. The 32-year-old is now heading back to his former team (Atlanta), where he spent several seasons.
Alex Jackson
Jackson, 25, will help Miami and their catching situation. The 25-year-old catcher has appeared in a handful of games in each of the past three seasons but owns a .070/.200/.093 slash line in 50 trips to the plate.
