The Orlando Magic have traded Aaron Gordon and Gary Clark to the Denver Nuggets for Gary Harris, R.J. Hampton, and a protected 2025 first-round pick.
Aaron Gordon
Aaron Gordon, 25-years-old, is leaving the Magic for the first time in his career. The 2014 4th overall pick has spent seven seasons with Orlando, averaging 12.9 PPG, 6.4 RPG, and 2.5 APG. But this season in 25 games, Gordon has averaged 14.6 PPG, 6.6 RPG, and 4.2 APG on 43.7% shooting.
Gary Harris
Gary Harris, 25-years-old, has played 19 games for the Nuggets this season, averaging 9.7 PPG, 2.5 RPG, and 1.7 APG. The Michigan State Spartans alumnus has dealt with a bunch of injuries and has otherwise struggled over the past few seasons. Harris’ play has been trending downward for a few seasons, with his 2020-21 campaign arguably the worst since his rookie season in 2014-15.
