With the first overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, the Jacksonville Jaguars have selected DE Travon Walker out of the University of Georgia.
At Georgia this past season, the 21-year-old had six sacks, two pass defenses, one fumble recovery, and 37 total tackles.
Travon Walker’s 40-time was faster than 12 WRs at the combine. Oh, yeah, Walker is 6’5, 275 lbs.
No one was quite sure who the Jags would go with at No. 1. Michigan star Aidan Hutchinson was in the conversation, but GM Trent Baalke ended up going with Walker.
