Charlie Ward is renowned for his dual-sport collegiate career at Florida State University (FSU) where he won the 1993 Heisman Trophy as a quarterback. The 54-year-old also led the Seminoles to their first national championship. Opting for a professional basketball career, he was selected in the first round of the 1994 NBA Draft by the New York Knicks. Ward played 11 seasons in the NBA, primarily with the Knicks, and also had stints with the San Antonio Spurs and Houston Rockets.
