We have an Easter Conference finals rematch but this year the circumstances are different. The Heat entered into the 2022 conference finals as the top dog. In 2023 they are aiming for history. Should they win the series they will become only the second 8 seed to reach the NBA finals in league history.

Erik Spoelstra is simply a fantastic coach. The structure that he and Pat Riley have been able to create is top notch. Throughout the 2023 NBA playoffs their are two things that all fans need to be aware of. They are that “Heat Culture” exists. The team is well coached and disciplined. Throughout this lineup, all have bought into a system and will follow a structured game plan on a nightly basis. Also, pay no attention to what he says to the press. Their is a HUGE difference between Jimmy Butler and “Playoff Jimmy”. Playoff Jimmy can single-handedly take over games.

Boston Celtics
The Boston Celtics are feeling great after Jayson Tatum poured in an NBA Game 7 record 51 points this past Sunday. This squad has had issues focusing at the beginning of playoff series. The Celtics let Philadelphia grab Game 1 of the Eastern Conference semifinals series. A series that eventually went seven games. They also let the Atlanta Hawks linger around and take them to six games in round 1.
It will be interesting to see how the come out in game 1.
