Miami Hurricanes Revamped Strength and Conditioning Staff

Get pumped Canes fans (literally)! Miami has a newly revamped strength and conditioning staff in the building.

Leading the way with this staff is Coach Aaron Feld. Coach Feld is the newly appointed strength and conditioning coordinator for the Hurricanes and boy does he bring the energy! Known for his coined phrase, “fill the sleeves”, Coach Feld brings 110% effort to every player on the roster. Coach Feld has a decorated background when it comes to the S&C field where he was most previously with Oregon. Before that, Feld had a three-year stint with UGA as the Assistant Director of S&C.

This man is the elite of the elite when it comes to getting players physically prepared to do battle on the field. Strength and conditioning and nutrition are No. 1 in Coach Feld’s eyes; will we see the product translate onto the field?

Hurricanes family sure does hope so.

Next up is Rodney Price. There’s no shortage of talent this man has seen while putting in 5+ years at the University of Georgia. Coach Price has pumped out NFL caliber players at the collegiate level by making sure their bodies are properly taken care of throughout their collegiate careers. He has continuously put out grown men after grown men everywhere up and down the UGA roster.

Lastly is Coach Ervin Young. Coach Young has no shortage of experience when it comes to the landscape of players he’s produced in his day. He put in time at (in no order) UCF, Kansas and Missouri, where he pumped out pro size players left and right. A combination of the knowledge, work ethic and devotion to their craft that all these guys bring to the table, physically, Miami will be competing with the upper echelon of CFB in no time.

These additions by Mario Cristobal are by far some of the most important up to this point. The importance of players being able to compete at the top physical level and be able to rehabilitate from injuries properly is something that is far overlooked by any fan bases.

Now, as Hurricane fans, we can finally put those worries to bed.
