Paul Spicer Talks Jacksonville Jaguars Football

Paul Spicer, 46, is well-known within the Jacksonville Jaguars organization. From 2000-2008, Spicer was a defensive end on the Jaguars. Spicer even spent time with the Jaguars as an assistant defensive line coach in 2011 and 2012.

In addition to his time in Jacksonville as defensive end, Paul Spicer has spent time on the Seattle Seahawks (1998), Detroit Lions (1999), and the New Orleans Saints (2009) where he won Super Bowl XLIV.

In 11 NFL seasons with Detroit, Jacksonville and New Orleans, Spicer posted 252 tackles and 28.5 sacks and was part of New Orleans’ Super Bowl XLIV winning team. He totaled 7.5 sacks for Jacksonville in 2005 as the Jaguars reached the AFC playoffs.

In addition to coaching the Jaguars, Paul was a Tampa Bay Buccaneers assistant defensive line coach (2015-2018) and a USF assistant defensive line coach (2019).
