The Busiest State! Orange Bowl and Gasparilla Bowl Already Sold Out

The State of Florida is always a good spot to host major sporting events such as College Football. In addition to its fantastic weather, the state always features good attendance numbers.

The Orange Bowl and the Gasparilla Bowl, two College Football bowl games taking place in Florida, are already sold out.

The Orange Bowl, which takes place in Miami at Hard Rock Stadium, will feature the No. 3 Georgia Bulldogs and the No. 2 Michigan Wolverines. Being that the game is a CFP Semifinal, it is to no one’s surprise that all 65,327 seats at Hard Rock Stadium will be taken.

The Gasparilla Bowl, which takes place in Tampa at Raymond James Stadium, will feature two in-state schools. The Florida Gators and UCF Knights will face off. All 65,890 seats will be taken as fans of either team will not have to travel that far. Florida’s campus is located roughly 130 miles away from Raymond James Stadium. Meanwhile, UCF’s campus is located roughly 102 miles from Raymond James Stadium.

Other bowl games taking place in Florida (these will most likely NOT sell out):

  • The Boca Bowl (FAU Stadium, Boca Raton), featuring Western Kentucky and Appalachian State
  • The Gator Bowl (TIAA Bank Field, Jacksonville), featuring No. 25 Texas A&M and No. 17 Wake Forest
  • The Cure Bowl (Camping World Stadium, Orlando), featuring Northern Illinois and Coastal Carolina
