On Monday night, the Miami Heat returned home after a quick two-game road trip in Indiana and Milwaukee.
On Friday night, the Heat defeated the Indiana Pacers 113-104 off of 26 points from Kyle Lowry. The Heat were shooting on all cylinders and shots were dropping left and right. The next night in Milwaukee versus the Bucks was unfortunately the complete opposite. The Heat could not get anything going and fell to the Bucks 124-102. A bright spot in that game for the Heat was Small Forward Max Strus as he scored 25 points off the bench for Miami.
Recap
A Monday night at FTX Arena felt like waking up after the weekend for work. The Heat trailed the game from the start, all the way to the finish and could not organize any sort of offense. Plagued by injuries with Bam Adebayo out and Jimmy Butler getting injured once again, the Heat fell to the Grizzlies by 15 points. The one bright spot for the Heat was shooting guard and sixth man Tyler Herro, who had 24 points in 28 minutes of action. Grizzlies players Dylan Brooks and Desmond Bane each had 21 points and Center Steven Adams finished with 17 points and 16 rebounds. Even with Grizzlies star Ja Morant out with an ankle injury, the Grizzlies look like a team that could be a Western Conference threat in the playoffs.
