Another Magic/Knicks Matchup, Another Orlando Win

For the second time this season, the Orlando Magic have defeated the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden. In fact, half of Orlando’s wins this season have come at Madison Square Garden.

The Magic didn’t have one player score over 20 points. However, six players scored in double figures, which was enough to slip past the Knicks.

Sixth-man Terrence Ross had a team-high 19 points in 30 minutes of work. Rookie Franz Wagner had 16 points and nine rebounds, including a highlight-reel dunk. Also, Mo Bamba had yet another double-double, with 12 points and 12 rebounds.

Cole Anthony didn’t have his best game, but was able to flirt with a triple double. The second-year pro out of North Carolina had 15 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists. However, Anthony will have to improve his shooting. Wednesday night against New York, Anthony shot 5-for-21 from the field, including 1-of-9 from three.

For New York, RJ Barrett had a team-high 17 points along with nine rebounds and five assists. Center Mitchell Robinson had a double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds.

Evan Fournier was not able to dominate his former team. Fournier had only five points along with one rebound and one assist in 21 minutes of action.
