Heat Fall To Clippers Without Jimmy Butler

The Miami Heat lost their game late to the Los Angeles Clippers on Thursday night after being up 16 points. The Clippers are now on a roll with six wins in a row. The Heat, meanwhile, are still near the top of the East after dropping the last two games in Los Angeles. The late rally for the Clippers secured the win with a final score of 112-109.

After losing their first five games of the year, the Clippers are now on a six-game winning streak and are playing well without Kawhi Leonard. Paul George has been on fire as of late; George had 27 points, five assists, four rebounds and three steals. Center Ivica Zubac had a double-double with 18 points and 11 rebounds. Also, Reggie Jackson had 22 points and Eric Bledsoe had 21.

Bam Adebayo has been the leading man this year for Miami. It was another strong showing by the versatile big man, scoring 30 points off of 67% shooting and 11 rebounds. Kyle Lowry also had a big scoring night with 25 points (22 in the fourth quarter) and five assists. Tyler Herro stayed consistent with 23 points and seven rebounds. P.J. Tucker, meanwhile, stayed strong with 10 rebounds.

The Heat were without Jimmy Butler due to a sprained ankle sustained the night before against the Lakers. The Heat showed strong resilience without their star in Butler. However, Miami still needs to work on closing games out when Jimmy isn’t on the floor.
