The Florida Atlantic Owls defeated the Fordham Rams on Saturday night, 45-14. FAU has now won 10 straight games at home (Howard Schnellenberger Field).

N’Kosi Perry had 278 passing yards on 27-of-43 passing with two passing touchdowns. Perry also had six rushes for 28 yards and a touchdown.
Kelvin Dean Jr. was Florida Atlantic’s leading receiver. The redshirt freshman had nine catches for 74 yards and a touchdown. Meanwhile, Malcolm Davidson had a team-high 14 receptions for 63 yards.
Overall, FAU couldn’t be matched by Fordham’s offense OR defense. The Owls had 547 total yards while the Rams had only 237 yards.
On third-downs, Fordham had its biggest struggles. The Rams were 1-of-15 (6.7%) on third-down efficiency. Meanwhile, the Owls were 9-of-18 (50%).
Despite losing, Fordham had fewer turnovers than FAU. The Rams had a total of two turnovers (two interceptions thrown) while FAU had a total of three turnovers (three fumbles lost).
Next game, Fordham Head Coach Joe Conlin will expect a better game from starting quarterback Tim DeMorat. DeMorat, who was born in Merritt Island, FL, was 16-of-40 (40%) passing. The senior also had 280 passing yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions.
