Miami Hurricanes QB D’Eriq King has signed an NIL deal with the Florida Panthers. The deal will make King the country’s first college athlete to sign an NIL deal with a professional sports team.

Ever since NIL regulations came into effect in early July, King has been very active. On the first day that college athletes could earn compensation, King received a five-figure signing bonus from one business and inked agreements with three more companies.
