With the 160th overall pick in the 2021 NHL Draft, the Tampa Bay Lightning have selected Cameron MacDonald.
Cameron MacDonald
MacDonald, 18, is a 6-foot-1, 190-pound center. The 18-year-old played in 30 games with the Saint John Sea Dogs of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League during the 2020-21 season, notching 10 goals, 17 points and 30 penalty minutes.
The Canada-born power forward can slip away from coverage, hide behind the back of defenders, and drive to the net sneakily to tap passes in. In addition, MacDonald has a very good and heavy shot, and can get it off in no time with his quick release.
