Oklahoma Sooners Updates

The most recent Sooners loss was a tear-jerker. This past Saturday, Oklahoma suffered a devastating fourth consecutive loss at the hands of LSU. The team simply could not control senior guard Cam Carter in the last half minute of the game. Senior forward Jalon Moore made a pair of free throws to give Oklahoma a 79-74 lead with 35 seconds to go in the game. However, he then proceeded to foul Carter on a made three-point shot. Carter proceeded to nail the foul shot cutting the Sooners lead to one point. Carter got a steal off the inbound and then proceeded to convert on a three-point play leading the Tigers to a three-point victory.

Call it whatever you would like but the bottom line is that the Oklahoma Sooners basketball program is broken. Sooners’ fans will have zero opportunities for 2025 March Madness Bracket betting on their beloved team. They have now fallen to 3-9 in SEC conference play and an overall record of 16-9 heading into Gainesville.

SEC College Basketball Florida Gators Updates

The Gators are building a resume that backs their claim of being the best team in all of college basketball. The team is 12-1 in home games this season and regardless of the opponent, the team does not back down from any fight large or small.

The Florida Gators score 83.8 points per game, 11.3 more per game than the 72.5 Oklahoma gives up. For this matchup, it will be the first meeting of the season between the two teams in conference play. Going into the contest, Walter Clayton Jr. is shooting 45.1% and averaging 17.2 points for the Gators. Will Richard is averaging 12.4 points over the last 10 games. The Gators are firing on all cylinders and it will be hard to imagine a let down, especially at home, against a team that has been demoralized.
