In reference, both teams’ 2022-2023 seasons began as the Magic faced the Pistons in Detroit. In such a tightly contested game throughout, Detroit emerged victorious over Orlando 113-109, but not without seeing Magic rookie Paolo Banchero enjoy a sensational NBA Debut.

“I left a lot of points on the board, like three layups missed, some shots I feel like I could have made, so a lot to work on,” said Banchero, who lead the Magic in Minutes, Points, and Field Goal Percentage on Wedneseday’s season opener. ” But I wasn’t disappointed with the way I played.”
