Heat nation was loud and present at the start of game five but unfortunately the energy was not there for the team throughout the game.

The Miami Heat could not find their rhythm and drop a harsh one to the Celtics, only scoring 80 points total and 38 points in the second half. A crucial game five turned into a nightmare for the Heat as they face elimination heading into Boston for game six.

Recap

The Miami Heat and Boston Celtics battled it out to the very end with the Celtics pulling away early in the fourth quarter. The Celtics had only two players score more than twenty points and that was Jaylen Brown with 25 and Jayson Tatum with 22.

The Heat did not have a player score above 18 points. Their leading scorer was Bam Adebayo, who also grabbed ten rebounds.

The Heat scored 42 points in the first half, with the Celtics scoring only 37. Unfortunately for Miami, they fell apart in the third quarter getting outscored by double their points; the Celtics had 32 and the Heat had 16.

Things got even worse for Miami even before the game when they found out Tyler Herro was not going to play due to injury; they will desperately need him back for Game 6.
