Jaguars Stop Skid As Dolphins Lose Heartbreaker In London

After losing 20 straight games, the Jacksonville Jaguars finally got in the win column thanks to a game-winning 53-yard field goal by Matthew Wright. The game marked the first NFL win for quarterback Trevor Lawrence and Head Coach Urban Meyer. Meanwhile, the game marked yet another disappointing performance by the Miami Dolphins.

Rookie Trevor Lawrence is starting to show signs of what he’s capable of. Despite fumbling the ball, Lawrence threw for 319 yards and a touchdown. RB James Robinson had another terrific game with 73 rushing yards and a touchdown. Meanwhile, Marvin Jones Jr. had a breakout game with 100 yards and a touchdown on seven catches to lead the team in fantasy points on the day. Jamal Agnew followed closely with five catches for 78 yards.

The Dolphins have now lost five straight games and Brian Flores’ coaching job may be in jeopardy.

Tua Tagovailoa’s return to the field was spoiled with the loss. Tua had a great game, completing 33-of-47 passes for 329 yards and two touchdowns. The second-year quarterback did throw an interception in the loss.

“I’m not 100%, but I was 100% ready to be out there,” Tagovailoa said.

RB Myles Gaskin was very quiet; Gaskin had only nine yards rushing on five attempts. TE Mike Gesicki had his best game of the season; Gesicki had a team-high 115 receiving yards on eight catches. WR Jaylen Waddle, meanwhile, had 10 catches for 70 yards and two touchdowns.
