The Jaguars Have Yet to Sign Four Draft Picks

As we approach training camp, more and more first round draft picks from the 2021 NFL Draft have been signed. However, the Jacksonville Jaguars still have four draftees unsigned. Jalen Camp, Luke Farrell, Jordan Smith, Jay Tufele, and Andre Cisco have all been inked to their rookie deals. But, Trevor Lawrence, Travis Etienne, Tyson Campbell, and Walker Little still remain unsigned.

QB Trevor Lawrence: Round 1, Pick 1

Trevor Lawrence was taken with the first overall pick after three great years at Clemson. Lawrence threw for 3,153 yards and 24 touchdowns in 10 games last year. He also finished 2nd in the 2020 Heisman Voting behind DeVonta Smith. Lawrence will be in line for the biggest contract in the NFL Draft, having been selected first overall as a QB. As a first round pick, Lawrence will likely have a four-year deal and a five-year option.

RB Travis Etienne Jr: Round 1, Pick 25

Travis Etienne is one of, if not the greatest RB the ACC has ever seen. The 22-year-old has the most rushing yards in ACC history (4,952) and is also a threat in the passing game. The Jaguars took the Clemson standout with the 25th overall pick in hope of forming an elite duo with James Robinson in the backfield. Like Lawrence, Etienne will have a fifth-year option at the end of his contract once signed.

CB Tyson Campbell: Round 2, Pick 33

Former Georgia CB Tyson Campbell played well against tough SEC competition and could’ve been a first round pick had he returned for his senior year. However, he was drafted with the first pick in the second round. So, Campbell will be getting a four-year deal when inked, adding to a talented group of corners including CJ Henderson and Shaquill Griffin.

OT Walker Little: Round 2, Pick 45

Walker Little, a former top 10 projected pick, is a very talented offensive tackle. His stock, however, went down after missing the 2019 season (injury) and the 2020 season (opt-out). So, Little hasn’t been in real-game action in two years, but he’s still in line for a four-year deal.
