Tim Hardaway Jr. Drops 36 Points Against Miami

The Dallas Mavericks cooled down the Miami Heat with an efficient long-range attack on Tuesday night.

Recap

Without their stars (Jimmy Butler, Victor Oladipo, Tyler Herro), Miami was only able to do so much but they responded with an efficient shooting night of their own.

Duncan Robinson had an off night, shooting-wise, but was still able to drop 19 points while pulling in nine boards. Goran Dragic, too, wasn’t able to find his stroke, but scored 19 points. Meanwhile, starter Trevor Ariza scored 16 first quarter points, but finished the game with only 18 points. But Bam Adebayo had yet another monster all-around night. Adebayo finished with a near triple double, scoring 11 points, 11 assists, nine rebounds, and two steals.

For Dallas, Tim Hardaway Jr. was the star of the night hitting 10 3-pointers on a 56% clip for a total of 36 points. Luka Doncic also performed well, scoring a near triple double with 23 points, 8 assists, and 12 rebounds. In addition, Jalen Brunson had 19 points off the bench. Dwight Powell also stepped up, bringing down 10 rebounds. Powell’s defensive performance was key with Kristaps Porziņģis out due to right knee soreness.

Haslem Watch!

Heat veteran Udonis Haslem has yet to play for the Heat this year and apparently, Erik Spoelstra plans on playing him late in the season. For the most part, it seems that Haslem had been operating in a supporting role similar to a coaching role. However, he may still get some playing time as the season comes to a close.
