Andre Cisco Selected by the Jacksonville Jaguars

With the 65th pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, the Jacksonville Jaguars selected S Andre Cisco out of Syracuse.

Andre Cisco

Andre Cisco, a junior from Valley Stream, New York, notched 12 interceptions in his first two years along with two forced fumbles. Cisco shows excellent range and timing, and always seems to know where the ball is going.

Even better, Cisco helps a Jaguars secondary, which had arguably the worst safety play in the NFL last year. However, the 21-year-old had a season ending injury in 2020, tearing his ACL less than halfway into the year.

Overall, Cisco plays with good instincts and vision to see plays develop. He also has good overall athletic ability to cover with quick feet and ball skills to attack the ball in the air. In addition, he can read quarterbacks’ eyes, and track the ball in the air very well.

If Cisco can bounce back from his ACL injury and improve his average play speed, he will prove to be an awesome pick for Jacksonville.
