We saw this in the NBA Finals, where he took a lot of layups and baseline jumpers. But, the most impressive thing about his performance, was how often he got to the line. Then, when he got there, it was impressive to see how efficient he was from the charity stripe. If he can continue this trend, defenders will start to guard the drive. Then, it’s bombs away from downtown. Jimmy Butler hits the three-ball routinely. So, it’s scary to think about if we see Butler do this throughout 2020 for the Miami Heat.
Jimmy Butler is approaching a huge year for not just his career, but for his team. The Heat finished the prolonged 2020 season just 2 games short of winning the Larry O’Brien Trophy. Butler has a chance to get back to the Finals, and he hopes to win it this time.
