Dolphins Look to Win 6th Straight Game

As we head into Week 11, the Dolphins have a chance to pull even with the Bills for the division lead. This comes as the Dolphins face the struggling 3-6 Broncos, who may struggle even more if Lock doesn’t play. Lead by Tua, the Dolphins will try to pull off a 6th straight victory. The Broncos on the other hand will just try to play a game and not get blown out. Lets take a look at both teams going into this matchup.

Injury Report

The Broncos have multiple players on the injured list including QB Drew Lock. Lock is listed as questionable, however, the Broncos might be better without him. Lock threw 4 interceptions last week against the Raiders, and playing against a good Dolphins defense may worsen the injury. If Lock doesn’t play, it will be Brett Rypien. As of now, there is only one Broncos player listed as out for Sunday’s game: LB Joe Jones (calf). It is also notable the Jerry Jeudy, who caught 4 passes for 68 yards against the Raiders is banged up but expected to play. The Dolphins also have a few players on the injured list. Tua is on there with a foot injury but will obviously play against the Broncos. Kyle Van Noy will be questionable going into this matchup with a hip injury, but Matt Breida is good to go.

Jerry Jeudy

Jerry Jeudy has been outstanding this year. He is currently 3rd among rookies in receiving yards with 552 and has made 34 catches. That gives him an amazing average of 16 plus yards a catch. Jerry Jeudy is right in the middle of the ROY conversation but is competing with many others. Among others he is competing with is Tua Tagovailoa. Tua would be leading this conversation had he started the year as the starting QB. It will be interesting to see who has a better game on Sunday. Jeudy is better than he looks like as Lock hasn’t given him his opportunities, even though he has still found success. The Broncos’ 15th pick is likely to carry that success into future years in the league.

Authors Prediction

The Dolphins should find no trouble in this game. If there’s anything the past few games have taught us, it’s that the Dolphins win games and don’t care about the past seasons. The Broncos can be a great team but need to fix lots of things. Drew Lock doesn’t seem to be the right QB for them. They also have tons of injuries including stars Courtland Sutton and Von Miller, who are out for the season. Expect this game to be all Dolphins right from the start. Tua will throw around 3 touchdowns as the Dolphins dominate. We should also expect to see a lot of rookie Salvon Ahmed, who had a great game last week.
