ORLANDO, FL- With the 2022-2023 NBA Season set to tip off on October 18th, all 30 NBA teams have begun finalizing their preparations for the upcoming seasons. As unconventional as it may sound, this includes deciding on the Jersey Kits for the upcoming season. In reference to this, the Orlando Magic have officially decided on their Statement Edition Jerseys for the 2022-2023 NBA Season, which is found below via Orlando’s Twitter Page. This is what Orlando’s Front Office and Ownership had to say regarding their new threads:
“Inspired by legends, this uniform is created for the next legacy of Magic basketball. The primary blue color and black pinstripes are a tribute to fan-favorite moments and represent an important part of our franchise history. The black star pattern on the sides pay homage to our uniforms from 1998-2003, with a modern twist that reflects the look and feel of Orlando Magic basketball today”.
The Magic’s statement edition jerseys will make their first appearance of the season during Orlando’s home opener against the Boston Celtics on October 22nd. In total, the statement edition jersey will be worn in 10 of Orlando’s 41 home games. To clarify, the statement edition jersey is one in a collection of four jerseys that the Magic will wear throughout the 2022-2023 season. Orlando will retain their home blue icon jersey and road white association jersey from the previous season, but will also add a city edition jersey, which will be released during the season.
